A 19th century mahogany longcase clock by Joseph Ruff of Glassford, Glasgow, the hood with swan-neck pediment above an arched dial painted with a shepherdess and flock above a circular chapter, the hours spelling PETER CUMMING, flanked by spandrels with female figures emblematic of the seasons, framed by barleytwist columns, the pagoda topped door bordered by conforming pilasters, on a moulded panelled base with bracket feet.
